  1. Awww....so SOOOO cute! Yes, that nose is waiting to be kissed. I wish I had suggestions on how to sneak one by the landlord. This baby is just waiting to go home with you!

    1. you noticed. no, your eyes (which, by the way, must be better. so GLAD!) are not deceiving you. i have once again changed my background. i find that very strange, too. because i am a very fixed, reluctant to change type person. i do the same in my home. i am constantly redoing/rearranging things.

    2. You sound just like me! I'm always rearranging things too. Those who know me call it 'organised chaos'. Cheers :)

  5. Oh yes, that is one adorable puppy! Sneaking him in past your landlord might not be as difficult as keeping that cute little fella (the puppy, not your landlord..) quiet enough to be undetected once you get him in. The pup doesn't exactly look like a ferocious watch or guard dog, so I don't reckon you could convince your landlord that you need him for protection. Bummer.

Happy weekend! (By the way, in reference to the comment you left on my post, "Hot Flashes and Cold Lemonade" DOES have some funny stuff in it. Some sad stuff, too, but hopefully, enough laughs to make up for the sad.)

  6. I want one too. Soooo adorable. And don't worry about your landlord. The moment she sees that dog, she'll be happy for you ;-)

  7. Aww. So cute! I work in lettings and most of our landlords are ok with pets as long as the tenant pays a pet deposit - unless, of course, you have neighbours downstairs or cream carpets, in which case you'll just have to persuade a friend to adopt him so you can visit. ;-)

  8. I take it your landlord isn't a mother? Hmm...can you train this one to knock at the landlord's door and look lovingly at him/her just like that? How could it not work?

  9. you guys are wonderful. thanks for the many suggestions. but the question was of the rhetorical nature for i know there is NO WAY my landlord/lady would allow me to have a pet. thats why i am planning to move house within two years because i sorely miss having a pet. although my landlady leaves food for stray cats in her backyard - which i think is a great idea. cheers!!

  10. How about making him cupcakes and then saying, pretty please can I have one if I promise to clean up after him?

  12. I miss having dogs and cats, but... my Daughter has them so I can go visit her when I need to pet something.
