LUCKY CHARM #10 Think Positive!!!
Here we go again. POW! ZAP! BOOM! OUCH!
Winter just doesn't seem to want to let loose it's grip. It snowed/sleeted here in Lower Westchester, NY last night. Temps plummeted to below freezing.
I feel sorry for all you budding flowers. But you hang in there - bear down, stand your ground and soon you will grow, flourish and overcome Winter's adversity. Cheers!!
So, when life gives you snow, make cherry snowcones. Enjoy! Cheers!!
Just stay away from the yellow snow because it's not lemon.
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious! Cheers!!
DeleteLOL @ Happy Whisk! I could go for a cherry snowcone right about now too.
ReplyDeleteMe too Debra. We shall soon be needing one when temps soar to 90. Something I ain't looking forward to at all. Cheers!!
DeleteHahaha...Happy Whisk's remark got me. LOL...
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, cherry snowcones sound just right. No snow here. A couple of days of rain, and now some cold with sunshine. That's okay. As long as there's no snow, we're okay.
You know, I guess we just expect it to snow in winter, be breezy in the spring, blazing in the summer and cool in the fall; and we nature deviates from our expectation we go nuts. I agree, no snow - I'm good. P.S. Don't tell my hotflashes that - LOL! I'm sweating just sitting here typing. Cheers!!
DeleteI'm trying to stay positive in all this snow. We had a big snow storm yesterday, April 15, and all the buses were cancelled for school! Can't believe all the kids got a snow day in mid April. This is definitely one winter for the record books. Hopefully spring comes for real soon! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of kids out of school. We are out of school this week due to Spring Recess and we were out in February due to Winter Recess. Out for almost 2 weeks in December due to Xmas holidays. In two months we will be out for summer AGAIN! Personally, I think school should be extended - but I digress. Cheers!!
DeleteAck snow! We got some too! Nice to meet you! Thanks for the comment over on my blog! :)
ReplyDeleteI could not help but follow you - since I'm over 50. I got such a chuckle out of your title. Cheers!!
DeleteThat's a very pretty snowcone. I'm sorry about all the snow. If I could send you some sunshine from California, I would.

Awww, that's a nice sentiment. That snowcone does look awesome. Is snowcone spelled as one word or two? Cheers!!
DeleteFull sun here in my part of the world :)
ReplyDeleteYou lucky girl! According to weather geniuses, temps suppose to be heading up by end of week into next week. Cheers!!
DeleteWell I sure hope that snow stays away for you. It's been snowing here a bit the last few days but luckily it melts as it hits the ground. Good moisture for spring I guess!!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
xo Catherine
I guess Mother Nature knows what she's doing. She gives us exactly what we need even though we might not think so at that particular time. Have a super duper weekend, Catherine. Cheers!!
