the boo hoo flu

yes folks that's right - that image that you see on your left looks like me -- well, almost like me, LOL!  you see i've been under the weather for about a week.  actually that's an understatement.  i have been suffering from the flu for about a week. feeling much better, though, after much needed rest, tea, honey, ginger, and lemon.  i got my flu shot last october for the second time in my life - as an adult.  funny thing, cant see where i picked up the virus because i don't see anyone with the flu, or cold.  but anydiddles, i'm back and boy from the posts i've seen, i've missed a helluva lot.  i've got some catching up to do.  have a great beginning of the week.  cheers!!

a blog by any other name....

i starting blogging in december of 2009.  the blog's original name used to be a dream named vincent.  i was, am and will forever be a big fan of loci (law & order:  criminal intent).  so i named my blog after the leading actor of the show, vincent d'onofrio.  consequently, my username - bobbybegood1 - was taken from the actor's character -- det. robert (bobby) goren.  





however, after reading a wonderful book titled living a charmed life by victoria moran, i decided to title my blog after the name of the book because of the book's wonderful suggestions on how to live a grand life.  

last night i was thinking of all the fabulously named blog titles and began thinking about how or why we choose the names/titles of our blogs.  sometimes, because of a blog's title, i will read and then follow.  for example, i just found a blog named black coffee and cigarettes.  the title struck a personal cord with me so i joined and now follow.

i guess my question to my blogbuddies is this:  why or how did you come up with the title of your blog?  what was your inspiration for beginning your blog?  this conversation should prove very interesting.  cheers!!

ain't she sweet

growing up as a child my family had a male cocker spaniel named ponty.  ponty was a nice doggy but he had his faves - i obviously was not one of them.  he particulary loved my sister sondra.

anywho, cocker spaniels have one hellava vicious temper.  however this little sweetie pie seems adorable. her name is crumble.  enjoy. cheers!!
